About the program

Apangea Learning's math program is an online, supplemental math instruction and tutoring program that provides students with instruction, math problems, access to live certified teachers, and a motivation program with rewards for working on math problems.

Is Apangea For Me?

Apangea Math is geared towards students in grades 3-8 and struggling high school students (through high school Algebra 1 and Geometry).

What Do I Do Next?

Students:

Students who already know their login information can log in now.

Students who don't have an account or aren't sure should talk to their teacher or librarian.

If you need help once you are logged in to Apangea:

  • Look for tutorials within the program.
  • Get assistance at any time by clicking "help" or selecting the option to speak to a live person.
Public library staff:

You'll need to evaluate your system (it takes about 20 seconds) to see if it will run Apangea:

  1. On one of your public computer stations, go to Apangea math and do a tech check
  2. Enter the requested contact information
  3. Submit the results online.

If the computer passes the check, Apangea support staff makes a note that your site is ready to go. If it doesn't pass, someone from Apangea customer support staff will contact you and work with you to get your system ready to run Apangea.

Exciting News

Public libraries have the opportunity to participate in training and have their own Apangea teacher accounts, which will enable library staff to set students up with an Apangea login. Trained librarians are able to create a student account and introduce students to the Apangea math program in about ten minutes.

If you already have a teacher account, you can view a quick instructional screencast on creating student accounts.
